Hague Convention Service
When a recipient is located in a country that participates in the Hague Service Convention, international service may need to follow treaty procedures rather than ordinary domestic methods.
TOFG coordinates the administrative preparation of Hague service requests, including document organization, destination-country review, central-authority routing, translation coordination, and status tracking.
Some destination countries require translations or impose specific objections, declarations, or local conditions. Those issues should be identified before the packet is dispatched.
Clients should provide a complete recipient address, all documents to be served, the originating court and case number, known deadlines, and any existing judicial instructions.
Hague service can take substantial time. Early intake is especially important when a limitations period, hearing, or service deadline is approaching.
TOFG maintains an organized record of the submission, routing information, returned certificate or status, and any follow-up needed after the foreign authority responds.
